Hi, I’m Amber Skranak - Kris Helburg's daughter. I was born and raised here in Libby. My whole childhood was spent outdoors. From camping to swimming to fishing, I was always outside. After High School I left Libby for ten years. I went to college in Idaho; I worked in Missoula, Montana, and still visited Libby often. I moved back to Libby one week after my daughter was born. My husband and I couldn’t imagine raising a family any where other than Libby. Libby provides what other towns and cities cannot. We have the luxury of seeing wildlife right outside our homes. Everyone knows everyone, if you don’t know them personally you know someone who does. We don’t have the crime or vandalism that so many other cities have. Libby is a beautiful community.
